What to Expect

A personalized treatment plan will be created during an initial consultation to address your unique needs and desired improvements. During treatment, topical numbing is applied to the skin to keep the patient comfortable. Sculptra® is then delivered beneath the through a series of small injections.

Once the injections are complete, your provider will lightly massage the area to assure the Sculptra® is distributed properly. You will instantly look rejuvenated in the injected areas although that will dissipate over the next couple days. But do not worry, during the few months following treatment, as collagen is produced, the microspheres are metabolized by the body leaving you with plumper skin!

The treatment process causes minimal discomfort due to the numbing cream, and there is no required downtime following sessions. Multiple treatments may be suggested to achieve optimal results.

Pre-Care Instructions

• Avoid taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, Advil®, Motrin®, Aleve®, Fish oil, and Ginko Biloba as these blood thinners could cause additional bruising
• Avoid alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to treatment
• Consider Using Arnica prior to treatment to minimize any bruising

Post-Care Instructions

• Do not touch the injection site 2-3 hours after treatment
• Do not exercise for at least 24 hours
• Avoid consumption of alcohol for the next 24 hours to minimize any bruising
• Avoid sleeping on you face for the first few nights
• Drink plenty of water which will help promote the collagen stimulating effects
